Moksha known as Mukti or salvation refers to liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Lord Krishna has told Arjuna in Bhagvad Gita that one who surrenders to him is sure to attain Moksha.
Lord Krishna was Arjuna’s Guru and guided him on his path. ‘A Guru is the master who makes us realize our Spiritual self and communicates the spiritual knowledge. ‘Guru opens the door to salvation. A ‘Guru’ choses his Shishya, he beomes his complete responsibility.
One does not have to renounce his worldly life. We simply have to surrender at his feet. By surrender one must have his full faith in HIM, a faith that is unchallenged by all means. Only then can one progress towards the path of Moksha.
Immersing yourself in complete bhakti or dhyan are other vehicles or rather mediums for moving ahead on the path of Moksha. However that’s not possible with the kind of lifestyle we live today. ‘Guru’ is the supreme one, the only one accomplished to help his/her Shishya to gain Mokhsa.
Life is highly unpredictable and he only thing permanent in this Universe is the connection with ‘Guru’. The easiest way to reach the Vaikunth i.e. Heaven of the abode is total surrender at his feet. Surrendering detaches us slowly yet gradually from the worldly life thereby elevating our spiritual selves. We will progress on the path of positivity and way our life whether thinking or acting to situations changes.
It is not only our bad Karmas but it’s our good deeds as well that we need to get liberated from. Surrender is the only path to break free from al the worldly ties and gain mokhsa.
“GURU BRAHMĀ, GURU VISHNU, GURU DEVO MAHESHWARA
GURU SĀKSHĀT PARABRAHMA, TASMAI SRI VE NAMAH”
Brahma i.e. the Creator; Vishnu is the Protector and Shiva is the Destroyer and Liberator of cycle of rebirth and death. He is Parbrahma which is an embodiment for God. ‘Guru’ has been given the highest place and therefore is above all the divine manifestations.
But what does giving up everything mean? Does one give up all dharmas and values after one surrenders? Not at all ! What it means is that one should resort to total surrender at the feet of the Guru in order to attain moksha
