“Eternal” means everlasting and existing outside all relations of time; not subject to changes. Whereas, “Bliss” is a state of perfect happiness, oblivious of everything else. People want a lot of things from their lives but more than anything else they want happiness. You usually become happy when you get something that satisfies an unmet need that you have. The reason we need a big house, a new car and/or a secured job is not because they are valuable, but because we expect these things to bring us happiness.
Eternal bliss is achieved by letting go of our egos and finding value for ourselves with the everlasting universe. The happiness we often try to seek from exterior things is actually within us. Inner satisfaction is necessary to achieve “Bliss”. Bliss is achieved in a state when the ego and the mind takes a back seat. It is a state that can be only achieved by one’s own effort.
The feeling of enthusiasm, satisfaction, completeness and absolute peace is a sign of blissful soul.
Life is a journey. A wise man does not rest by the road side. He marches fiercely into the infinite domain of eternal bliss, his ultimate destination.
